INDIVIDUALS

A HAPPIER, HEALTHIER YOU

At Authentic Psychology, we implement methods that aim to increase self-awareness to recognise strengths, define values, and build skills to enable a person to live a life that reflects who they are and what is most important to them.

Our services are personalized to meet the needs of each person whether they come from a background of trauma, want to learn skills that will enhance the quality of their life, or just need help navigating through life's complexities.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS

RELATIONSHIPS

“To be fully seen by somebody and be loved anyhow - this is a human offering that can border on miraculous."  Elizabeth Gilbert

Relationship coaching differs from individual counselling in that the focus is on the relationship rather than the individual. We will help you learn to really listen so that you can understand your partner's perspective without losing your own, and in consideration of one another build a healthy, respectful, accepting relationship.

Who we can help

GROUPS

We work with children (aged 9 and above) and adolescents to help them develop healthy social skills, manage their emotions, build self-confidence and improve their self-esteem.

A strong personality can be a strength and can be the basis of natural leadership tendencies. However, children with strong wills can be challenging. We work with parents and their strong willed children to develop effective parenting skills and behaviour management plans to enable their child to fit in and thrive.

"The greatest gifts you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence." Denis Waitley

There are some things that are better learnt with others as it can give insight into other people's lives and can leave a person feeling less isolated as they realise they are not alone in the problems they face.
We run small groups to increase people's understanding of their problems and teach them skills to manage them. Issues addressed include: Anxiety, depression, relationship skills, self-esteem and assertiveness skills.

INCREASE SELF-AWARENESS, EXPLORE NEW IDEAS, DEVELOP SKILLS, AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS.
